As well as the 28 supplementary planning guidance documents that have been retained, 13 new supplementary planning documents are being prepared.

The West Leeds Gateway has a firm connection with the Leeds Bradford Corridor plan,in essence it is somewhat superseded by the corridor plans. The Gateway project itself has somewhat stalled again, its present remit has nearly come to an end. Will vital resources that are needed for the area disappear as well.
